"Random Thoughts" by Mark McGrath

One of my biggest regrets about being in Sugar Ray is that we never got a chance to play South America. Well that is all about to change because we are going to Brazil, Argentina and Chile in late October of this year!

OK, saw Friday night I was court side at the LA Clippers game and I found out firsthand the power and quickness with what it means to go "viral". Chris Paul (one of my favorite players in the NBA, how do you not respect his skills?) made a last second drive over 4 Trailblazers to win the game. The Staples center naturally erupted in euphoria, and Chris came over to my group and fist pumped my two friends and basically left me hanging. As I sit here and write this I am so excited about the tour Art (from Everclear) and I have put together this summer called Summerland. "Mark, you're fired",  and yes with that simple, but effective iconic phrase, I was canned off of the Celebrity Apprentice!  Did I deserve to go, or was I victim of America's love affair of the "force of nature" that is  Gary Busey?  Who knows?  All I know is I had an incredible time on an amazing show, and met some truly stellar people that I'll be friends with the rest of my life.  My only regret is that I didn't get to win a boatload of money for a very deserving charity, Vh1's Save The Music Foundation. So do me a favor if you would be so kind, checkout their website savethemusic.com, and see if there's anyway you can help...
